“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:7 says God’s peace will guard our hearts and minds. It doesn’t say we’ll understand everything that’s happening around us.
I’ve had days when my mind kept running through the same concern, trying to find an answer I didn’t have. Even after praying, the situation was still there. I think that’s why this verse means so much to me. God’s peace isn’t dependent on my ability to sort everything out.
That doesn’t mean I never worry, or that I always feel peaceful. But I can bring what’s weighing on me to God and trust that He is with me in it. I may not know what comes next. For today, it is enough to know that Christ is with me in it.
